The proposed project involves the reconstruction of the wood railing and concrete spalls on the Cow Camp Road Bridge over the Chiquita Canyon Creek in the Rancho Mission Viejo unincorporated area of Orange County. The scope of work includes removal and disposal of existing temporary railing, repair and installation of damaged concrete spalls, steel posts and anchorage bolts, the reconstruction of the wood block railing with recycled materials, and the tightening of the existing cable railing on the entire bridge. The proposed project will implement standard BMPs, will require traffic control measures with single lane closures, and will need approximately 1 truck trip for construction. In addition, the Project will provide construction staging off-site along Antonio Parkway (33.572689, -117.632783) and will take approximately 1 month to complete by the end of February 2026.
