Creation of New Official Seal for Ontario County

The County of Ontario, New York, is soliciting proposals to create a new official seal that integrates elements from existing County Courthouse logos to establish a unified brand identity. The project requires the design of a finalized seal in multiple digital formats—including .ai, .eps, .png, .jpg, and .pdf—with both full-color and black-and-white versions, as well as editable branding templates for use across letterheads, business cards, email signatures, presentations, signage, apparel, and badges. Proposers must submit at least three initial design concepts and be prepared to deliver up to three rounds of revisions based on County feedback before final approval. All deliverables must comply with accessibility standards for visual impairments, adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, and be original works with no intellectual property infringement. Ownership of all final designs and materials will transfer exclusively to Ontario County upon acceptance. The award will be based on best value, not lowest price, and may involve interviews with top-ranked respondents. Vendors must maintain commercial general liability, professional liability, umbrella, and workers’ compensation insurance, naming the County as additional insured with waiver of subrogation, and submit proof via ACORD forms. Additional requirements include a non-collusive bidding certification, compliance with New York’s sexual harassment prevention laws, I-9 employment verification, and adherence to conflict of interest and confidentiality provisions. The contract term runs from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025, with payment issued within 30 days of invoice approval after submission of a completed Form W-9.
