NA THE SUPERVISOR OF SHIPBUILDING CONVERSION AND REPAIR NEWPORT NEWS VIRGINIA, INTENDS TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE ORDER/CONTRACT TO: EMS ICE INC., 513 BONSACK COURT, CHESAPEAKE, VA. 23321 FOR THE (CRYOGENIC) CLEANING OF VENT COOLING COILS . THIS PURCHASE IS TO BE AWARDED UNDER SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES AND OTHER THAN FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION AS AUTHORIZED UNDER FAR 6.302-1. THE AWARD DATE IS ANTICIPATED TO BE JULY 07, 2003. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT IS AVAILABLE AND TELEPHONE OR FAX OR E-MAIL REQUESTS WILL NOT BE HONORED. NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED ON THE BASIS OF OFFERS RECEIVED IN RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE. A DETERMINATION NOT TO COMPETE THIS PURCHASE BASED ON THIS NOTICE IS WITHIN THE DISCRETION OF THE GOVERNMENT.
