Project Scope of Work (Objective): 1. Background Information: a. 2017/2018 CFAO Sanitary survey reported the significant water pressure drop in CSH-7216J 4-story BEQ. The minimum psi requirement for Navy facilities is 20psi. The average PSI for CSH-7216J can be lower than 10PSI when fire hydrant flow discharges 925 GPM(gallon per minutes), with which any toilet flushing will malfunction. b. Hydrant Test Frequency  Hydrant Flow Test: 1 per every 5 years.  Hydrant Flushing Operation: 1per a year c. Average Water Pressures (Circumstance: Non-Fire Hydrant Flow & Modest water consumption)  Main line before facility: 45PSI  Line after passing BFP/PRV: 34.8PSI  1F: 32 PSI  2F: 27PSI  3F: 22PSI  4F: 15-16PSI d. Pipe size:  From water main to BFP: 5inch (125mm)  From BFP to 1st branch lines: 2.5~4inch (65-100mm)  From 1st branches to the end user lines: : 0.8~2inch(20-50mm) 2. Relocate the existing BFP at CSH-7216J 1F Mech room. a. Require easy access to all internal check valve parts and maintenance activities for the back-flow preventer. 3. Remove 3ea of PRV (Pressure Reduce Valve) in 1F Mech room. a. Those PRV are located after BFP in 1F Mechroom and broken now. KTR created a bypass. b. KTR confirmed they are not necessary but only will contribute the low pressure becoming worse. 4. Fix low water pressure at BEQ. a. Provide 2~3 booster pumps, whose system needs to work corporately to response various water consumption by daily and weekly. (Refer to BOSC KTR survey report attached.) b. Request PWD Engineer to consider drawbacks after boosting water pressure.  Water cut during power outage.  Possible Water leak from any aged piping c. FOS recommendation  Install new booster pumps and ... NOTE: description has been truncated, please see Project Note for full description.
