CSUB Solar & Battery Advanced Shovel-Ready SLPPA

The California State University, Bakersfield is seeking qualified providers to finance, construct, own, operate, maintain, and eventually remove or transfer a solar and battery energy system under a 20-year Site License Power Purchase Agreement. The project is designated as advanced shovel-ready, meaning it is primed for immediate development upon selection of the provider, with all necessary planning, permitting, and interconnection details already established. The selected provider must adhere strictly to the RFP requirements, the draft SLPPA, its riders, attachments, and all associated project documents, which include technical specifications, production schedules, interconnection summaries, site information, and cost assumptions. The system will be built by properly licensed contractors and must meet all regulatory and operational standards set forth by the University.
