NSWCPD is tasked by NAVSEA and other sponsors to establish test sites to support Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) system research, development, testing, prototype evaluation, and in-service engineering support programs. NSWCPD test sites require installation and outfitting of test infrastructure, including significant mechanical, electrical, fluid, air/exhaust handling, and other support systems. Furthermore, the installation and outfitting services required must be performed in accordance with applicable commercial/industrial and Navy standards, and in support of accelerated program schedules
