Full Description

Parachute Overwater Slide Trainer (POST) The addition of the winch provides the added capability of positive tension control on the cable to allow for maintenance of the carousel assembly for maintenance. The goal is essentially: 1. Reutilize the rod welded counterweight attached to a fixed steel plate for system operation – Maintains current system operation 2. Adding a removable spur gear hand winch system mounted on the column wall to allow for the lowering and positioning of the harness assembly (yoke) for periodic maintenance. 3. Adding braking capability for positive load control for lifting and lowering of the yoke for maintenance objectives. 4. Utilize a ¼” aircraft cable rope for the winch and trolley maintenance procedures.
