DESCRIPTION: The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and other items and services necessary to obtain customs clearance of import and export freight at the specified airports in Japan, to include transporting of said freight between the airport and U.S. Government installations, coordinating carrier booking for export freight in accordance with the terms and conditions of this contract and applicable Japanese laws and commercial trade practices. See the Performance-based Work Statement (PWS) for details. SCHEDULED PERFORMANCE DATE: 01 Oct 2015 through 31 Mar 2016 (6 months) The Government contemplates award of a single pre-priced Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) resulting from this solicitation; therefore, offerors must propose on all line items in the Price List. Award will be made to the offeror whose offer represents the best value to the U.S. Government considering the evaluation factors stated in the solicitation posted on the web site. A pre-proposal conference is NOT scheduled this time. Offer Due Date: 14 SEP 2015, 02:00 PM (Japan time) Offerors may respond to the subject solicitation via facsimile, prior to 14 SEP 2015, 02:00 P.M. Respond to this solicitation by fax is subject to the same rules as a response via postal mail or hand-carry. The number of receiving facsimile equipment is +1 (555) 000-0000 from inside Japan / 81 (country code)-42-551-0973 from outside Japan. The Government reserves the right to make award solely on the facsimile proposal.
