The United States Coast Guard has announced the Phase I awards for the Cutter Boat Over-The-Horizon V project under solicitation 70Z02320RACB00700. This total small business set-aside contract was awarded to four companies following a tradeoff source selection process. The selected awardees are Inventech Marine Solutions at 103,683,652.22 dollars, Blackfish Solutions at 103,544,535.67 dollars, Gravois Aluminum Boats at 99,612,857.03 dollars, and MetalCraft Marine US Incorporated at 97,955,719.74 dollars. Solicitation # USCG-RB-S-III-2026
The United States Coast Guard is seeking a contractor to design, build, test, and deliver the Response Boat, Small Third Generation (RB-S III) to replace the aging 29-foot RB-S II fleet. This small business set-aside acquisition involves the procurement of up to 400 boats for the USCG and 100 modified variants for other federal agencies. The government intends to award up to four Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts with a ten-year ordering period, consisting of a five-year base and a five-year option.
