Cybersecurity and Compliance Management

The contract requires the implementation and ongoing maintenance of robust cybersecurity controls to safeguard Covered Defense Information, with a strict focus on achieving and sustaining compliance with NIST Special Publication 800-171. This includes deploying technical, administrative, and physical safeguards aligned with the standard’s requirements to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss of sensitive data. The contractor must establish scalable, auditable processes that ensure continuous adherence to federal cybersecurity guidelines and regularly validate the effectiveness of implemented controls through monitoring and assessment. In addition to control implementation, the contractor is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of cyber incident reporting, including timely detection, documentation, and notification of any security breaches or anomalies involving CDI. All incidents must be reported in accordance with federal regulations and DoD directives, with clear documentation and response procedures in place to mitigate damage and support forensic analysis. The work is performance-based at Fort Lee, Virginia, under a subcontract structure, and is subject to oversight by the Defense Contract Management Office, with proposals due by July 21, 2026.
