The US Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement to renew software maintenance for BAE Socet Set and Socet GXP for licenses residing USGS National Civil Applications Center (NCAC) classified facilities in Reston, VA and Lakewood, CO.
The requirement is for continued maintenance support for the BAE Socet GXP geospatial software suite packaged for classified government work as the ¿Pro Bundle Upgrade Entitlement (UE).¿ The letters ¿UE¿ are included in the part number, and UE refers to upgrade entitlement software support. This means in addition to annual maintenance, new upgrades and releases are included as well. The software to be covered by this acquisition supports the national programs of the Core Science Systems (CSS) and National Land Imaging Program (NLI). The package is necessary to enhance the capacity for classified and unclassified stereo image processing in the NCAC Reston, VA and Lakewood, CO facilities.
The total anticipated period of performance will be 10/01/2026 ¿ 09/30/2027.
The USGS is aware of no other source that can provide the above. Therefore, it intends to make an award to BAE unless it is contacted by any vendor who believes they have similar product that can meet the needs of this requirement.
