The Department Of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 15 intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(c) (1) - FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to Emergency Care Research Institute, 5200 Butler Pike, Plymouth Meeting, PA, 19462-1298. Emergency Care Research Institute will provide online resources provide CEOSH Biomedical Engineering current and 24 hour access to pertinent information and tools to assist with investigating, managing and publishing relevant medical equipment hazards. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. The place of performance is for the Saint Louis VA Medical Center. The Saint Louis VAMC is located at 915 N Grand Blvd., Saint Louis, MO 63106-1621. The NAICS code is 519190 with a size standard of $27.5 Million. The solicitation number is VA255-15-Q-0458. This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract with a period of performance of twelve (12) month Base year plus four option years. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; interested parties may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement NLT 25 February 2015 at 2:00 PM CST. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required services. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to Announcement VA255-15-Q-0458, Notice of Intent. If after 25 February 2015, no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, Department Of Veterans Affairs shall negotiate solely with Emergency Care Research Institute.
