The Department of Veterans Mid-Atlantic Healthcare Network (VISN 6) Central Acquisition Service intends to negotiate a sole source follow-on contract with Ektron, Inc. for support of the CMS400.NET content and document platform for the VISN 6 Intranet. NAICS code 541511 is applicable to this procurement. The proposed contract action is for a Senior Developer to perform general support with regards to CMS400.NET refinement, augmentation, and debugging of the VISN 6 Intranet site. CMS400.NET is proprietary to Ektron, Inc. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations. Interested parties that believe they can meet these needs must supply information about their capabilities no later than March 24, 2008, 4:30 p.m. (est). All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. No solicitation will be made available.
