D--Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract

The National Capital Region Contracting Center (NCRCC), on the behalf of the Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS), intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 251 et seq, Title 40 U.S.C. 501, services for Executive Agencies, and FAR 8.405-6(b)(1), to Freeport Technologies Inc. of 470 Springpark Place Suite 100 Herndon, VA 20170. Freeport Technologies currently provides PEO EIS with a turn-key solution of Hardware and Software Maintenance, Helpdesk, and Technical Support for four (4) video teleconferencing (VTC) rooms containing the Freeport Collaborative Room Operating Systems (FCROS). The prospective contractor must be able to fully service the hardware and software aspects, to include FCROS software updates and fixes. The Period of Performance is one (1) year starting from Date of Award, for referenced VTC rooms located at 9350 Hall Rd. Fort Belvoir 22060, Building 1445. This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract with a period of performance of twelve (12) months. IAW FAR 19.1406 - Sole Source Awards to Service-disabled Veteran-owned Small Business Concerns, the National Capital Region Contracting Center intends to award the above sole source contract to a Service-disabled Veteran-owned Small Business. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Phone calls will not be accepted.
