D--Notice Of Intent to Award Sole Source for ENVI

The United States Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) Acquisition Center, National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC) Branch intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed-price purchase order to Exelis Visual Information Solutions (Cage Code 0SHY3) for a ENVI Maintenance Renewal, pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) Soliciting from a single source. Exelis Visual Information Solutions, located at 4990 Pearl East Circle Boulder, CO 80301 (www.exelisvis.com), is currently the only organization in the world able to produce and offer the product known as ENVI. Exelis Visual Information Solutions owns and controls all of the proprietary rights in this product. The period of performance of the subscription service is 1 August 2015 to 31 July 2016. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541511 - Custom Computer Programming, with a size standard is 27, 5000,000. The purpose of this notice is to inform the public of the Government's intent to award on a sole source basis for the required services. This notice does not constitute a Request for Quote. Information received from interested parties will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any firm who believes they can provide the ENVI may submit a written response for consideration by the NGIC Contracting Office.
