This vendor has offered the best service, price and continuation of this existing service for next six months until the VA's Technology Acquisition Center consolidation of this service is in the government's best interest. This is a Bridge requirement for the forthcoming National Telecom Contract. All Telecom contracts will be moved up to a national BPA, in either first or second quarter of Fiscal Year 2014. Description of Efforts Made to ensure that offers are solicited from as many potential sources as deemed practicable: FSS and the internet were searched. Determination by the Contracting Officer that the Anticipated Cost to the Government will be Fair and Reasonable: $46,380 for six months of services. This price is fair and reasonable based on Historical Pricing for these same services, Purchase Order 506S37046, awarded 10/31/2012, shows $49,410.00 for six months of services. 8. Description of the Market Research Conducted and the Results, or a Statement of the Reasons Market Research Was Not Conducted: FSS and the internet were searched. 9. Any Other Facts Supporting the Use of Other than Full and Open Competition: This is a Bridge requirement for the forthcoming National Telecom Contract.
