D--SDARNG AGO Video Teleconference refresh

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The SDARNG has a requirement to retrofit an existing Polycom Viewstation Video Tele Conference (VTC) Endpoint. The current Polycom VTC is operational. The Government's intent is for the contractor to reuse as much of the current system equipment as appropriate/feasible in the designed solution to be used in the retrofit system. The contractor will design retrofit, provide all new equipment, hardware and system installation. This requirement is set aside for small business. The Government encourages the participation to the maximum extent possible of small disadvantaged business concerns, service disabled veteran owned small business, woman owned and HUB Zone small business concerns in this activity. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Submit only written offer for RFQ W912MM-11-T-0054. The associated NAICS code is 4431120 with a size standard of $25.5M. This solicitation in no way obligates the Government to award a contract, nor does it commit the Government to pay any cost incurred in the preparation and submission of any offer/quote. Furthermore, the Government reserves the right to reject any and all offers, if such action is considered to be in the best interest of the Government. This requirement is subject to the availability of funding. NOTICE OF PRE-QUOTE SITE CONFERENCE An onsite pre-proposal conference will be conducted on 30 August 2012 (8:30 am MT) for purposes of allowing interested parties to see the existing system and answering questions regarding this solicitation. The existing system equipment details will be available at the site conference. Interested vendors are highly encouraged to attend the pre-quote site conference. Any information provided at the conference shall not qualify the terms and conditions of the solicitation and specifications . Terms of the solicitation and specifications remain unchanged unless the solicitation is amended in writing.
