Full Description

This is a Notice of Intent from the Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland (NAWCAD) to contract on an other than full and open competition basis with Compass Systems, Inc., Lexington Park, MD to acquire a continuation of efforts for engineering services to modify, install, and support Cluster Fable equipment and software on Special Projects Aircraft. This action will result in a modification to existing contract N00421-01-C-0036 which will increase contract hours/labor, travel and material in order to allow for a previously unanticipated increase in program tasking due to a sustained, increased operational tempo of the squadrons supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. This contract modification will be negotiated on a sole source basis with under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements). This is not a solicitation. No RFP will be issued on the basis of this Notice of Intent. See numbered Note(s) 22
