AI Contract Overview
This Request for Information (RFI) seeks input from responsible sources to support the Department of Veterans Affairs’ planning efforts regarding data engineering, management support, and quality assurance recommendations for the SSG Fox SPGP program. It is not a solicitation for proposals or bids, nor does it commit the government to any expenditure or contractual obligation. Responses are intended to provide the government with information on vendors’ technical capabilities and experience, particularly related to the scope outlined in the draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). Respondents must adhere to the guidelines including a 12-page limit, exclusion of marketing materials, and must demonstrate specific capability aligned with NAICS code 541519, indicating their business size and socioeconomic status, including verification for Veteran-Owned or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB/SDVOSB). The RFI emphasizes the requirement for detailed, capability-specific responses covering technical expertise, recommendations for additional technologies or best practices, as well as clarity on the PWS's scope. It requests corporate experience references with contract details and requires small businesses to address how they will meet set-aside requirements under VA and SBA regulations, including workforce and subcontracting plans. All information must be submitted by June 3, 2026, with proprietary data clearly marked. This effort aims to support future acquisition planning under a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside, ensuring that vendor capabilities and insights help shape a more effective and clearly defined solicitation in the future.
