This is a sole source synopsis for the acquisition of a four month performance period extension, 01 January 2012 to 30 April 2012, for current Unclassified IT Support and Services (UITSS) contract HR0011-06-D-0001 with Wyle Information Systems, in support of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency's (DARPA) Support Services Office (SSO). In accordance with the authority at FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements", DARPA intends to negotiate a contract modification for the four month extension. This announcement constitutes the only synopsis for this requirement and is issued for notification purposes only. The current support services are set to expire on 31 December 2011. Wyle Information Systems needs to continue to provide support services for the four month period because DARPA/SSO requires a team of individuals that are familiar with the current DARPA IT environment and the strategic plan in order to provide full spectrum IT Services. Wyle has five (5) years of experience with the current systems and knowledge of how DARPA conducts IT business on a day to day basis. If the proposed contractor is not selected 3-5 months of effort and cost will need to be incurred to facilitate a new teams understanding of the customizations included in the DARPA systems and the business operations in order to effectively execute the action. During that time there would be significant risk to DARPA's IT systems and the ability of the Agency to carry out its mission, as management of the IT systems would not be sufficiently staffed, and there would be a lack of knowledge of current systems and architecture to ensure that the networks operate properly. To this end, a separate competition for the performance of IT services at DARPA is currently underway with the U.S. Army Research Laboratory. A Pre-solicitation notice was published on 23 November 2011 with the solicitation number W911NF-12-R-0002. The Request for Proposal is expected to be released on or about 08 December 2011.

Request for Information (RFI): Verification and Compliance Checking for Natural-Language Network Requirements (FastVacc)
Solicitation # DARPA-SN-27-13
The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Information Processing Techniques Office (IPTO) has issued a Request for Information (RFI) under solicitation number DARPA-SN-27-13 titled Verification and Compliance Checking for Natural-Language Network Requirements (FastVacc). The agency is seeking information on tools, practices, and approaches to reduce the time and cost of verifiable compliance checking for network security requirements by two to three orders of magnitude. The objective is to develop a capability that can process natural-language requirements documents, such as Zero Trust Architecture or Commercial Solutions for Classified packages, and concrete network configurations to identify inconsistencies, redundancies, and incompleteness in an offline phase, while providing near real-time verification of configurations with human-understandable output. This RFI is not a formal solicitation for proposals and does not constitute a binding contract. Interested respondents must submit their information by November 13, 2026, via email to [email hidden]. Submissions should consist of a one-page narrative and up to two slides featuring visual depictions of key concepts, including a completed version of Table 1. All responses must be submitted at the unclassified level in unprotected Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, or PDF formats, adhering to specific formatting guidelines including 12-point font and one-inch margins. Any proprietary information must be clearly labeled as Proprietary, and the use of the term Confidential is strictly prohibited for proprietary business data.

High-throughput Unmasking of Biological Interactomes with Binding Landscape Emulators (HUBBLE)
Solicitation # DARPA-PA-27-01
The High-throughput Unmasking of Biological Interactomes with Binding Landscape Emulators (HUBBLE) program, solicited by the DARPA Biological Technologies Office under DARPA-PA-27-01, seeks to develop an in-silico capability for mapping all protein-protein interactions. The primary objective is to create a comprehensive human interactome hypercatalog capturing over 10 million new interactions, shifting from static biomarkers to dynamic, context-aware interactomes. The utility of this capability will be demonstrated by identifying novel diagnostic and therapeutic targets for traumatic brain injury. Awards will be issued as Other Transaction (OT) for Research agreements with fixed, payable milestones. The program is structured in two phases, with Phase 1 estimated at 12 months and Phase 2 anticipated at 18 months, though current awards are limited to Phase 1. Proposers, including large and small businesses, universities, and research institutions, must submit a maximum six-page unclassified abstract via the Broad Agency Announcement Tool by November 5, 2026, to be considered for an Oral Proposal Package due December 11, 2026. Evaluation is based on technical comprehension, technical ability, and the realism of the cost rough order of magnitude. Prime proposers must be registered in the System for Award Management and demonstrate CMMC Level 1 compliance. Performance will be managed through a Task Description Document and a milestone-based payment schedule, with invoicing processed through the Wide Area Workflow system. Security requirements include the Fundamental Research Risk-Based Security Review Process for all senior and key personnel.

Future Announcement: Quantum Computing – Applications Workshops (QC-AW)
Solicitation # DARPA-SN-27-14
Special Notice DARPA-SN-27-14, issued by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Multi X Office, serves as an advance notification of the agency's intent to host a series of Quantum Computing Applications Workshops (QC-AW) beginning no later than January 2027. The primary objective of these workshops is to determine the commercial impact of future utility-scale quantum computers by collaborating with quantum-algorithm experts, end-users, financial stakeholders, and hardware experts. This effort aims to identify high-value use cases, accelerate industrially relevant quantum advantage, and establish a path toward pricing the value of quantum computations through the development of new benchmarks for commercial application workloads. This notice is issued solely for information and program planning purposes and does not constitute a formal solicitation for proposals or proposal abstracts. Interested parties should monitor sam.gov for future Requests for Information (RFI) describing the workshops. All administrative and technical inquiries should be directed to the QBI SN Coordinator at [email hidden], with Micah Stoutimore, Ph.D., serving as the technical point of contact. The notice explicitly states that no classified information should be included in any response. The response deadline for this notice is December 30, 2026, and the associated NAICS code is 541715.

Atomically Precise Molecules (APM)
Solicitation # DARPA-PS-26-141
The Atomically Precise Molecules (APM) program, solicitation DARPA-PS-26-141, is a Department of Defense initiative managed by the DARPA Multi X Office. The program seeks innovative synthesis techniques for programmable precision polymers (PPPs) to develop revolutionary nonlinear optical (NLO) materials. The primary objective is to create scalable materials with strictly controlled monomer sequences and composition, culminating in a prototype demonstration integrated into a government-provided electro-optic modulator. Key technical goals include achieving modulation greater than 1THz and meeting specific optical loss metrics. The program is structured in two phases, with an anticipated start date of April 1, 2027, and a performance period extending through 18 months. Awards will be issued as Other Transaction for Prototype Agreements, with payments tied to a schedule of milestones and processed via the Wide Area Workflow system. Proposals are evaluated based on scientific and technical merit, relevance to the DARPA mission, budget realism, and the capability for technology transition. Strict eligibility requirements apply, as non-US organizations are prohibited from participating. Additionally, performers must adhere to rigorous cybersecurity standards, including CMMC Level 2 self-certification and compliance with NIST SP 800-171 R2 controls for the protection of Controlled Unclassified Information. Full proposals, including technical, management, and pricing volumes, must be submitted through the Broad Agency Announcement Tool by December 18, 2026.
