Full Description

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has a requirement for Enterprise Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCiM) software, software installation and configuration, maintenance, technical support, and end user training, in support of the Infrastructure Services Division, Office of the Chief Information Officer (NAICS code 423430) for a period of one (1) year, with an estimated value of $178,000.00. The anticipated award date is May 24, 2014. USPTO is exempt from the Competition in Contracting Act under the Patent and Trademark Office Efficiency Act, 35 U.S.C. 2(b)(4)(A) and the subject requirement is being procured using the Alternative Competition Method as described in the Patent and Trademark Acquisition Guidelines (PTAG) https://federalregister.gov/a/2013-24316 In accordance with the PTAG, the USPTO conducted market research and the results indicate that only a limited number of vendors are most likely to successfully meet the agency's needs. As a result, the solicitation will only be issued to the limited number of qualified vendors. Interested parties are asked to review the attached "Requirements Checklist" document against their product and submit a maximum five (5) page capabilities statement, if eligible. Capabilities statements must be received via email to Cielo.Ibarra@uspto.gov no later than 6:00pm ET, April 30, 2014. Parties who are likely to successfully meet the agency's needs will be invited to compete in the solicitation.
