SD36 requests respondents to submit quotations for Deaf or Hard of Hearing - Language Enrichment & Cultural Awareness (LECA) to support the needs of the District and its Students. The overarching goal of these programs and resources is to provide ongoing enrichment and engagement, and a greater awareness of Deaf culture and Deaf Indigenous culture and Indigenous principles of learning, ASL awareness and teaching.Through this program the successful Vendor will be responsible for the administration and documentation of language enrichment and cultural awareness programs. This will include consulting as required; developing plans of action for individual students and/or classes; providing synopses of program realisation; hiring, supervision and reporting of coordinator and teams for language enrichment and cultural awareness programs Development of online resources accessible to school staff, district staff and families, as well as in-person and online lessons with individual students and classes as determined by individual student instructional objectives.Proposed Deaf or Hard of Hearing - Language Enrichment & Cultural Awareness solutions must be fully compliant with statutory obligations of FIPPA. Any service provider (including any subcontractors) that signs an agreement with SD36 automatically assumes the legal privacy obligations under FIPPA.All respondents must have a vendor account with SD36’s electronic bidding system at:https://surreyschools.bonfirehub.ca/opportunities/102990 and must be registered as a plan takerfor this opportunity.
