SD36 is seeking a single respondent to provide Substitute (“Sub”) Sign Language Interpreting services (flexible pool equivalent to 1.5 FTE) billed hourly and a dedicated contract administrator billed on a flat monthly fee and Program Consultant Coordinator billed on a flat monthly fee.The successful respondent will act as the single point of accountability for all substitute interpreting coverage across the district (approximately 300 Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing students in 2025-26, number subject to change).Substitute (“Sub”) Sign Language Interpreting services must be fully compliant with statutory obligations of FIPPA. Any service provider (including any subcontractors) that signs an agreement with SD36 automatically assumes the legal privacy obligations under FIPPA.All respondents must have a vendor account with SD36’s electronic bidding system at: https://surreyschools.bonfirehub.ca/opportunities/105948 and must be registered as a plan taker for this opportunity.
