Department of Water Resources (DWR) staff will break down, fill, and repair two small areas of erosion near the Del Valle Landfill at MM 1.4 of the South Bay Aqueduct. Erosions will be broken down with a backhoe or mini excavator, then approx. 20 cubic yards of native soil fill material will be brought via a loader and dump truck to backfill and compact the erosion locations. Access to the site will be from the East Shore Trail parking area and equipment will travel on established trails. Staging and work will be within the DWR right-of-way.
