42 Contracting Squadron at Maxwell Air Force Base, AL is requesting information for Maintenance and Support of Dell Servers and Switches. This is a Request for Information (RFI) ONLY. It is not a Request for Proposal (or solicitation) or an indication a contractual commitment will exist for this requirement. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT INTEND TO AWARD A CONTRACT ON THE BASIS OF THIS RFI OR OTHERWISE PAY FOR THE INFORMATION SOLICITED. The purpose of this market research (Source Sought Synopsis) is to determine if there are at least three Dell certified contractors that can perform maintenance and support of Dell servers and switches under the Gold, Silver, and Next Day plans. PLEASE SEE ATTCHED PWS FOR DETAILS. Firms responding to this RFI are asked to provide the following information in their initial response: company's full name, business size, address, point of contact, and a clear indication as to whether or not they can provide the service the government is seeking. Final responses to this RFI will be due on 29 Sep 2008 central standard time (CST), at 8:00AM. As industry may expect to see portions of submitted information in future solicitations, portions of the response containing proprietary information should be clearly marked as such.
