Title :
Demolition and decontamination of part of the MCTS building at Notre-Dame-du-Portage owned by the Canadian Coast Guard.
Summary of scope of work :
The work covered by this contract involves the demolition and decontamination of only part of the MCTS building at Notre-Dame-du-Portage. Only elements contaminated with lead and asbestos will be demolished and removed from the site by the Contractor. The work includes the asbestos-contaminated roof membrane, the interior ceiling contaminated with lead paint, the concrete floor and walls inside the building, and certain red-painted elements contaminated with lead. The Contractor must provide all materials, equipment, labor, lodging, transportation and any other items required to complete the mandate.
Familiarization with Site:
The access to the site is private and cannot be accessible without prior authorization. Canada will organize an optional visit during Phase 2 with interested pre-qualified bidders.
All work must be completed by March 21, 2025.
