Dental Services for Corpus Christi State Supported Living Center

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission is seeking competitive bids to provide dental oral surgery services to residents of the Corpus Christi State Supported Living Center under solicitation HHS0017517, with responses due by July 6, 2026. The contract, slated to begin September 1, 2026, and expire August 31, 2027, requires contractors to deliver high-quality oral surgery using intravenous sedation as directed by facility dentists, alongside clinical consultations, examinations, and evaluations. Mandatory requirements include possession of a valid Texas State Board of Dental Examiners certification, active SAM.gov Unique Entity Identifier, DUNS Number, Federal Employer Identification Number, Texas Identification Number, and Texas Franchise Tax Number. Contractors must comply with all state and federal anti-discrimination laws, the Texas Prompt Payment Act, E-Verify enrollment for workforce eligibility, and background checks covering criminal, sex offender, and abuse records for all key personnel over the past seven years. Contractors are required to maintain umbrella liability insurance of at least $1,000,000, with their coverage deemed primary over any HHS insurance. Invoices must be submitted monthly, itemized by service, and include the contract number and detailed description of work performed, with payment contingent upon official acknowledgment of satisfactory performance. The state retains the right to terminate for convenience or cause, adjust prices at its sole discretion based on BLS indices, require repairs or refunds for defective work, and extend the contract for up to one year to ensure continuity or transition.
