The purpose of this project is to establish the Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) infrastructure specifically for fleet operations. The initiative aims to provide a fully functional system configured to support a dual-port, pedestal-mounted Electric Vehicle Charging Station (EVCS). It is important to note that the installation of the actual EVCS units is not included within the scope of this project and may be managed by others at a future date. Two parking stalls will be designated for electric vehicle use. These stalls will be specially stenciled and restriped to ensure clear identification. Also, prominent signage will be installed to indicate that these spaces are reserved exclusively for electric vehicles, facilitating proper usage and easy recognition. The project encompasses the installation of several key elements, including buried conduits, fixed bollards, wheel stops, and new electrical equipment. All necessary wiring will be included to ensure the delivery of a complete and operational system. Electrical power required for the EVSE will be sourced from an existing supply already available at the site. All phases of the work, including waste disposal, will adhere strictly to all applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances. Construction activities will involve pavement saw cutting, trenching, backfilling, and the restoration of the affected surface to its original condition upon completion of the installation.
