Design Build Community Hospital in Saint Michel De L'Attalaye (SMA) Haiti

This Pre solicitation Notice (PSN) is the first stage of the forthcoming Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Construction of a new community hospital in the community of Saint Michel de'L'Attalaye (SMA) in the Artibonite Region of Haiti. The project is fully funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The Request for Proposal (RFP) for this project is expected to be issued in the upcoming weeks. The SMA hospital project will be constructed on a green field site outside the community of Saint Michel de L'Attalaye. The facility is approximately 4,050 square meters in gross area and consists of multiple structures. This project is expected to be executed as "Turn Key" solutions under "Firm Fixed Price" contract to be awarded by USAID under a full and open contract tender. Work will be performed in Haiti and the contractor must comply with Haitian law (e.g. authorization to do business in Haiti.) The selected contractor will be required to obtain all licenses and permits to operate legally in Haiti. USAID will be looking for specialized experience in hospital building construction. Contractor experience and capabilities that may be considered shall include, but not be limited to: Experience executing projects of similar size and scope Experience working internationally in a similar development context Bonding and Insurance Limits Understanding of construction in Haiti and/or the Caribbean Contractor Organizational Structure Contractor Revenue History and Financial Capacity Years in business The solicitation is anticipated to be released by August 25th 2014 and will be made available electronically upon its release to www.fbo.gov All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered by the Contracting Office in Haiti.
