Design-Build DFAC and Barracks, Msata, Tanzania

The U.S. Navy’s NAVFAC EURAFCENT is seeking qualified contractors for a Design-Build project to construct a Dining Facility (DFAC) and six open-bay barracks in Msata, Tanzania, with an estimated value between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The scope includes building a 900-square-meter DFAC, six open-bay barracks, and two optional components: water borehole construction with treatment and storage systems, and site improvements such as gravel roads, parking areas, and interior lighting. All work must comply with a Performance Technical Statement, and contractors are responsible for securing all permits and paying associated fees for demolition, disposal, stormwater discharge, temporary utilities, road upgrades, and communications. Professional licensing required by Tanzanian authorities and full compliance with local, regional, and national environmental regulations are mandatory.
