Design Services for Building New Career and Technical Education Center (CTE)

Richmond Public Schools is soliciting proposals for comprehensive professional design and construction administration services to establish a new Career and Technical Education (CTE) Center. This project is a cornerstone of the Passion4Learning (P4L) high school redesign initiative, aimed at creating a hub for theme-based programming, hands-on learning, and industry-aligned pathways. The scope includes retrofitting an existing building to accommodate specialized CTE labs, workshops, instructional classrooms, administrative offices, and community collaboration spaces, as well as site improvements such as bus loops, parking, and ADA-compliant access. The design must align with the Maury Street CTE Feasibility Study and coordinate with City of Richmond zoning and planning guidelines, with a potential emphasis on LEED certification.
