AMENDMENT 0002


The purpose of this amendment 0002 is to modify the combined synopsis/solicitation as follows:


  1. Incorporate Vendor Q&A: Provide official Government responses to vendor questions (see attached 5 Q&A document)
  2. Revise the Statement of Need (SON): Remove the standalone "Salient Characteristics" document and incorporate all salient characteristics directly into the revised SON dated 30Jun26.
  3. Restructure Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs): Consolidate the schedule of supplies into a single CLIN (CLIN 0001).
  4. Update Unit of Measure: Change the unit of measure for the newly consolidated CLIN from "Each" (EA) to “LOT”.

Action to Offerors: All offerors must review the revised SON and ensure their pricing reflects the updated single-CLIN structure. The solicitation closing date and time remains unchanged in accordance with Amendment 0001. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.

Description of Product: The purpose of this statement of need is for a self-contained mobile, and secure data destruction system. The primary objective is to acquire a comprehensive solution capable of completely sanitizingand physically destroying both magnetic (rotational) and solid-state hard drives in accordance with National Security Agency (NSA) standards for handling Top Secret data. This capability is critical for ensuring compliance with data security protocols and mitigating the risk of data spillage. The system must provide a complete, verifiable audit trail of the erasure and destruction process for accountability and reporting purposes.


Question Submission Deadline: All questions must be submitted in writing by email no later than 11:00 AM Central Standard Time (CST) on TUESDAY, 23 June 2026. Response to questions will be posted by the Government on SAM.gov, contracting opportunities website as received. Questions submitted after this date/time will not be considered unless determined by the Contracting Officer.
