THIS IS FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY – This notice does not constitute a solicitation announcement or restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach and NO AWARD will occur from this notice. INTRODUCTION:


The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Detroit District, is issuing this Sources Sought notice and conducting market research as a means to identify the interest and capabilities of both small and large business entities for stone supply at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Detroit Project Office. Work is expected to include stone supply that will be delivered to the USACE Detroit Project Office and placed at a specified area. The stone may range from between 8 to 36 inches in diameter, with an estimated 1.5 tons of stone in total. There may also be an estimated additioanl 1,475 tons of stones as options.


BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES (IN FULL OR IN PART) OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. All Small Business Set-Aside categories will be considered. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions.
