Full Description

This a special notice for a Sole Source Proposed Acquisition- The Contracting Center of Excellence proposes to enter into a sole source contract with Technomics, Inc. 5290 Overpass Road, Suite 206, Santa Barbara, CA. 93111 in the amount of $149.000.00 to:(1) Meet with Tecolote Research, Inc. (the current contractor for the development of JIAT) to understand details (XML schema, software requirements, etc.) to become a provider within JIAT, (2) understand .NET 3.0 and how to implement within JIAT, (3) strip out ForeCostXXI GUI but keep Engine required to run the system engineering and cost model calculations behind JIAT GUI, (4) add standard World Wide Web service methods as specified by JIAT, (5) develop software module to parse input data from JIAT XML to ForeCostXXI data format to run engineering and cost model calculations to generate output, (6) develop software module to parse output data from ForeCostXXI data format to JIAT XML, (7) provide System Engineering Models (Radar, Search & Track, Radar, SAR, Infrared, LWIR, Infrared, MWIR, Infrared, SWIR, Laser Designator, Laser Rangefinder and LADAR), (8) provide FCS C4ISR cost model, (9) integrate System Engineering and Cost Models together, (10) test internally using simple GUI, (11) test on Tecolote or Technomics server with real JIAT GUI, if server resources are available, (12) develop ForeCostXXI provider on the JIAT .mil server through verification/validation process, (13) provide documentation on the inputs required to generate system engineering and cost calculations from the ForeCostXXI provider in JIAT and (14) provide documentation on the system engineering and cost outputs of the ForeCostXXI provider for the purpose of interfacing with JIAT. See Note 22. Offerors who beleive they have the capabilities to meet this requirement shall submit capability information to: Contracting Center of Excellence, contact@example.gov not later than 13 Jun 2008.
