DF 430 Aircraft Direction Finder and RTP 4230 Radio Tuner Panel

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Rockwell Collins Inc., Cedar Rapids, Iowa for the procurement of up to a quantity of twenty nine (29) DF 430 Aircraft Direction Finder Systems. The system includes the following part numbers: P/N 597-2147-001, Antenna-430 ADF; P/N 597-2158-302, Radio, RPU-430 ADF and P/N 597-2172-101, Tray-MT 125 ADF. Also for a quantity of up to seventy (70) RTP 4230 Radio Tuner Panel systems Engineering Services will also be procured. The Government intends to procure the above item under the authority of 10 USC 3204 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own current data drawings or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government, not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
