The required system must include a portable X-ray generator and tube, a digital radiographic detector with at least a 6 by 6 inch field of view, a DICOM-compatible workstation with PACS-ready storage, a portable diagnostic monitor, and mobile carts. The contract includes a requirement for initial training on system operation, safety, and species-specific positioning, as well as a minimum one-year total coverage warranty with options for extensions up to four years.
