AMENDMENT TO CLOSING TIME: Please disregard the Ariba Discovery posting response deadline closing time and CanadaBuys posting closing time. All required supporting documentation and bid submission must be submitted by April 20, 2023 at 2:00 PM EDT. All bids submitted after 2:00 PM EDT will result in the bid being declared non-responsive. The Canadian Coast Guard has a requirement to dispose of, through Ship Breaking, a 100 ft commercial steel barge located at the Jordan Harbour in Lincoln, Ontario. The Contractor will be required to prepare the vessel for transfer, transfer the vessel to the Approved Site and subsequently break (dismantle and dispose or recycle) the vessel in an efficient and environmentally responsible manner. The Contractor will have until August 15, 2023 to remove the vessel from its current location, and until September 15, 2023 to complete the Work. An Indigenous Benefits Plan (IBP) is requested with this requirement.
