The General Services Administration (GSA), Transportation Acquisition Support Division (QMAC) is posting a Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought notice for Express Small Package and Ground Delivery Service Recompete. On March 11 and 12, 2009, the General Services Administration (GSA) will host Market Research sessions between the Government and shipping & package delivery vendors as part of an ongoing project to define the requirements for a government-wide shipping contract. Responses are limited to vendors with existing capabilities to meet the requirements stated in the attached document This is a Request for Information/Sources Sought notice only. This is not a Request for Proposals and in no way commits the Government to establish a procurement vehicle. The Government does not intend to establish a procurement vehicle solely on submissions to this Request for Information/Sources Sought notice, nor does it intend to pay for any costs incurred in response to this notice. This RFI/Sources Sought notice seeks to: * Identify potential sources *Allow vendors to bring capabilities and creative solutions to the Government before final development and issuance of requirements * Begin a collaborative dialogue between Government and industry regarding the Government's shipping needs.
