Full Description

The County of Riverside Transportation Department is proposing to resurface approximately 1,531 feet of Dos Lagos Dr. and Weirick Rd from Knabe Rd. to Temescal Canyon Rd. in the community of El Cerrito. The County of Riverside General Plan classifies Dos Lagos Dr. and Weirick Rd as a Major Road. The roadway is 34’ to 84’ wide containing a mix of curb and gutter with sidewalk and curb and gutter with no sidewalk on both sides. The proposed project will include cold planing the existing roadway followed by paving back with hot mix asphalt (HMA). The proposed project will also include: • Sealing and filling cracks • Stripe lanes and crosswalk, installation of pavement markers • Sign salvage/removal and installation of new signs The westbound side of Dos Lagos Dr. is within City of Corona City Limits and is excluded from the project. All improvements will be completed within the existing right of way (ROW). No additional ROW or Temporary Construction Easements will be required to construct the proposed improvement.
