EDIS90726 RFQ-ITS Equipment and Software Maintenance - Quadient Inserters

The State Controller's Office (SCO) is soliciting bids for a one-year contract, with a possible one-year extension, to provide on-site preventive maintenance, on-call repair services, and software maintenance for two Quadient DS1200 Q4i Folder Inserters and Quadient AIMS500 Software located in Sacramento, California. The contractor is required to use new original manufacturer parts, maintain an on-site inventory of consumables, and adhere to all OEM safety requirements. Award will be granted to the responsive and responsible bidder offering the lowest cost, following a pass/fail evaluation of administrative and technical requirements. To qualify, bidders must have been in business for three of the last five years and employ field technicians certified by Quadient for the specific equipment and software. Required documentation includes a valid California business license, a Generative AI disclosure, and specific insurance coverage, including at least 1 million dollars per occurrence for general liability and 1 million dollars for automobile liability.
