Changed from 3 to 5 days.** This is a sources sought notice being issued to find contractors available to perform emergency drydock repairs for the USCGC Obion (WLR 65503) a 65-foot "B Class" River Buoy Tender. The drydock is for the following work: Remove, Inspect and Reinstall Propeller, Temporary Services and Temporary Messing and Berthing. The Period of Performance is expected to be 5 days. We are looking for a contractor that could start work 03Aug11 and/or has availabilities in August'11. Currently there is a geographic restriction in place for this contract which is that the contractor cannot be located more than 500 river (statute) miles from the cutter's homeport of Owensboro, KY. This work will be procured under Unusual and Compelling Urgency and has been approved for such an action. Additional information on this procurement may therefore not be publicized at the discretion of the Coast Guard. Please respond to this announcement no later than 1600PT 27July11.
