The intent of this request is to retain an Engineering Consultant to complete the detailed engineering design, including securing the necessary approvals, contract administration, project management, inspection, testing, etc. to complete the planned rehabilitation of the Brown's Creek Bridge No. 1 and the Brown's Creek Bridge No. 2. Both structures are location on County Road 79 (Nauvoo Road) in the Municipality of Brooke- Alvinston. Brown's Creek Bridge No. 1 is located approximately 1.0 km north of County Road 4 (Petrolia Line) and Brown's Creek No. 2 is located approximately 1.4 km south of Churchill Line.The rehabilitation plans shall focus on correcting all structure deficiencies to limit the rate of deterioration and prolong the useful life of the structure. The Successful Consultant shall be required to complete the preliminary and detailed design of the project including: topographic site survey, compiling all drawings and documents, performing investigations which the Consultant deems necessary, securing all necessary approvals and permits from external regulatory agencies, developing and administering the tender of the project, including the recommendation of a preferable Contractor, and the administration/project management of the contract on behalf of the County of Lambton including site inspection activities.
