AI Contract Overview

Hillsborough County is proceeding with a noncompetitive procurement to acquire an Envirosight Quickview AirHD Pole Camera from Environmental Product Group, Inc. for a total of $18,325.00. This equipment is essential for inspecting critical connection points within the county’s wastewater infrastructure, helping to identify potential issues that could lead to sanitary sewer overflows, hazardous gas buildup, or service disruptions. The purchase is classified as a sole source under Section 3-208(2) of the County’s Procurement Policy because the specific camera is necessary to ensure compatibility and interchangeability within the existing integrated system, and it is only reasonably obtainable from the designated supplier. The county has set a deadline of April 30, 2024, for any challenges or protests from other vendors who believe they can provide equivalent goods. Such challenges must include clear and convincing evidence to support a claim of substantial and material similarity. The county will review any properly submitted challenges to determine if genuine competition exists before finalizing the award. The contract may be extended or adjusted based on changing conditions or updated requirements, and interested parties can contact Tessa Seel at the provided email for further information.
