This Request for Information (RFI) seeks to enquire whether or not services for floating debris removal and disposal for the St. Andrew's Lock and Dam (SALD) may be found within the Vendor Community, and gather valuable information from the Vendor Community. Canada seeks to become a more "informed buyer" with an enhanced understanding of industry goods and service offerings in the areas of interest. The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to engage potential Vendors to:• Determine if floating debris removal services exist in the area around Lockport, Manitoba;• The capabilities of potential Vendors in terms of fleet size and response time; and• Complications potential Vendors see with the proposed Scope of Work. Please note that this RFI is for informational purposes only; no contract will be awarded as a result. Responding to this enquiry does not guarantee Vendors an invitation for any future request for proposals (RFP) issued and/or subsequent contracts, nor does it preclude them from one.
