The Project site is approximately 24.2 acres in area and primarily consists of the paved Euclid Avenue roadway and the Chino Creek Bridge 54-1248, where Euclid Avenue crosses the Prado Basin. The Project would raise Euclid Avenue above the Prado Basin 50-year inundation pool elevation (543 feet above mean sea level) over the existing paved Euclid Avenue. The Project would include construction of a new viaduct structure (i.e., “Euclid Avenue Viaduct”) that would cross over Chino Creek and Pomona Rincon Road within the Prado Basin. The Project would widen the new bridge to four lanes to match the existing roadway capacity and add bicycle and pedestrian lanes, facilitating traffic circulation.
