Evofinder Extended Warranties

The County of Orange Sheriff-Coroner has issued Invitation for Bids (IFB) 060-3079002-NB for the provision of extended warranties for EvoFinder systems, scanners, and software version 6.7.1.216. The scope of work requires comprehensive maintenance, repair services, and technical support, including all factory certified new parts, labor, shipping, and travel. Technical support must be available during normal business hours with a maximum response time of 24 hours, and repairs should be conducted on-site at the Orange County Crime Lab whenever possible. Maintenance for Ballistic Identification scanners must be performed by ScannBi Technology certified and trained technicians. The contract is structured as a firm fixed-fee agreement with an initial three-year term and two optional one-year renewals. Award will be granted to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, with specific price preferences applied to certified Orange County Local Small Businesses (OCLSB) and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE).
