The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) has awarded a sole source contract modification under Contract N00421-10-C-0015 to Photo-Sonics, Inc. of Burbank, California. This sole source award is to procure Non-Recurring Engineering for Periscope Redesign to correct the alignment of the MARS Heads-Up Display (HUD) Video Camera (HVC) with the F/A-18 HUD Caminer Lens in support of the F/A-18 C/D/E/F and EA-18G aircraft. This acquisition was awarded on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c) (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements".
