The Tate Creek Restoration contract entails a project focused on the ecological rehabilitation of Tate Creek within the McCloud River Watershed on the Shasta-Trinity National Forest in Siskiyou County, California. Key activities include completing the remaining design work, project staking, floodplain contouring, dam removal, addressing erosion by ponding and plugging gullies in specified reaches, backfilling other gullies, revegetating affected areas, and installing a temporary irrigation system. The project is planned to be completed within 75 calendar days, with an estimated start date no later than September 30, 2002. The USDA Forest Service plans to award this contract as a sole source to Streamline, following a previous related effort, under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1).
