The Willow Creek Cut and Pile project, solicited by the Bureau of Land Management National Interagency Fire Center, is a Firm Fixed Price contract for fuels management services near Meeker, Colorado. The primary objective is to reduce wildfire risk through the hand thinning and piling of pinyon and juniper trees across approximately 118 acres. The period of performance is scheduled from April 2, 2025, to November 30, 2025. This opportunity is designated as a 100 percent Small Business Set-Aside. Award is based on the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) method. To be considered acceptable, offerors must provide documentation of relevant experience from the past five years, a detailed project schedule including crew and equipment allocation, and a commitment to maintain the project manager or crew foreman onsite for the duration of the work. Performance is measured using one-acre inspection plots, requiring a minimum Work Quality Percentage of 85 percent for acceptance.
