The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS) Contracting Office (Code 440), hereby provides notice of its intent to award a sole-source, firm fixed contract, to Goodrich Corporation, DBA: UTC Aerospace System, 606 Goodrich Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32226. The contract is expected to be awarded under FAR 6.302-1. A Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been prepared. The period of performance shall be a base year beginning 07/09/18 through 01/01/19. The contract will provide for Goodrich Corporation, DBA: UTC Aerospace System, who has proprietary data in the combination of the phosphatizing process and properly vulcanizing the rubber to the surface of the flood baffle. The contractor is an authorized vendor to receive distribution D packages, of the equipment and has the proprietary information necessary to perform the services necessary for this equipment They part of the Joint Certification Program. NAICS code: 811490 Other Personal and Household Goods Repair and Maintenance (SBA Size Standard $7.5 Million) THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities, in a quote. To do so, respond to this requirement no later than March 27, 18 9 AM, PST. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS) Contracting Office (Code 440) will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent.
